What
is an E-Statement?
An E-Statement is an electronic version of your statement with images available
online
via our secure site. You can view and print your statement right from your
computer.
Avoiding the wait for traditional mail and ending paper clutter.
Are
check images available with my E- Statement?
Yes.
When
can I view my E-Statement?
You can login to view
E-Statements at any time! Your E-Statement will be available within 2
business days after your statement cycle ends. We will send you an email
alerting you that your E-Statement is ready for viewing. All your previous
E-Statements are available to you online as well!
Will
my E-Statement look the same as my paper statement?
Yes, your E-Statement looks exactly like your paper statement.
May I
view my electronic statement without signing up for E-Statements?
Unfortunately no. You will need to enroll so you can receive your login ID and
Password.
How
do I save my E-Statement for future reference?
You can save them right to your computer if you wish, but you no longer need to
since your statements will be available on our web site for up to seven years.
Can I
access an E-Statement for all of my accounts?
Both checking and savings accounts are available online.
Is
there a charge for E-Statements?
There is no charge. E-Statements are FREE!
Do I
have to sign up for TIBLink in order to have access to E-Statements?
No. You may access your E-Statement without signing up for TIBLink Internet
Banking. However, we do suggest you that you test drive our
Internet Banking demo
and experience the many features that we offer including viewing your
E-Statement without images.
Is
my statement information secure?
As is the case with everything traveling through the Internet, security is
always an issue. Even statements being mailed via the postal system has its own
set of security issues. All data transfers, including electronic mail, occur
openly on the Internet and potentially can be monitored and read by others.
Will
I need a password to view my E-Statement?
Yes. Your login ID and password will be provided to you via email after you
apply and respond to our email verification notice.
Will
I be able to print my statement and check images?
Yes. Once you open the E-Statement you will be able to print it just like you
print any document on your computer.
How
do I sign up for E-Statements?
You can
enroll online or at any one of our convenient locations.
May
I have my E-Statement accessed by my accountant?
Yes, but you will need to share your login ID and Password with your accountant.
What
is Adobe Reader and why do I need it?
Adobe® Acrobat® ReaderTM is free software used for viewing and printing of electronic
forms. You will need this software installed on your computer in order for your
computer to download, display or print your statement and images.
How
can I get Adobe Reader?
The e-mail that contains your electronic statement will have a link to enable
you to download the free software at that time.
What
if I change my email address?
In order to continue receiving the email notice that your latest E-Statement is
available, you need to notify us of your email address change. This can be done
through the "Contact Us" email service on our Web
site, through the TIBLink Internet Banking email address change function found
at the OPTIONS tab within that service or by contacting a customer service
representative at your local TIB office.
How
long will it take to set up my E-Statement?
Once you have responded to our set-up verification email, access will be set up
within two banking days and you will receive an email from us with your login
information. You can access your previous statements at that time. In the
future, you will receive an email alerting you when your next E-Statement is
available.
Who
should I contact if I can't access my E-Statement?
If you cannot access your E-Statement or you forgot your password, you can "Contact
Us" through our Web site or call 305-246-9741 between 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
on normal banking days.
I
know my password and can log in and get to the E-Statement home page but I still can not view my
E-Statements. It just says Processing Statement request, don’t interrupt.
Follow the below troubleshooting tips:
1.
What version
of Adobe do you have? It must be 6.0 or higher.
Be sure you don’t
have 2 versions of adobe installed. You may have to uninstall and then install
current version.
2.
Using
Internet Explorer?
Look for the yellow
drop down warning under the internet address bar. Choose ALWAYS ALLOW
POP-UPS FROM THIS ADDRESS to see the statements. Double click
on the account number again.
3.
Statement
still won’t open?
Go to TOOLS on the
internet and look for the pop-up blocker and turn off for this web sit only.
When finished, click on OK. Try again.
4. If using Bellsouth, AOL,
Netscape or any other browser be sure the popup blockers are turned off
to allow pop-ups for our website:
E-Statements.
If you aren’t comfortable
checking the settings on your PC and need assistance call our technical support
staff at 1-800-308-5863 for assistance on weekdays
between 6AM and midnight.
How
do I cancel my E-Statement?
You may cancel your E-Statement service at any time by providing us with written
notice by
e-mail, postal mail or fax 305-245-9837. We will remove your online access
and will send your monthly statement via postal mail*. The normal charge will
apply for sending previous statements you have lost or misplaced or for copies
of cleared checks.
Communication via e-mail is not secure. For your own protection, we ask that you do not send confidential information to us via email.
